When I was in high school, our football coach referred to the JV team as the "Green Weenies" meaning that we were inexperienced and ineffective.

I've used that term to mean the same thing ever since.

Oh well, as my friend Kermit says, "It's not easy being green!" Not so easy being ineffective either, but there are things that you can do about both conditions.
