» Do Bad Bosses Know They Are Bad? from Management Craft
Jory offers this interesting post called, The Price of Arrogance: Bully Bosses Pay It Eventually. She says, I can't imagine there are too many bad bosses who go home at night proud to have made their employees' lives miserable. I've [Read More]

Thanks for reminding us of this, Lisa. It needs saying from time to time.

The key for me is not taking things so personally. It's easy to assume some piece of crud is aimed directly at you, when it wasn't aimed at all. You just got in the way. If you respond or become depressed, you're picking up that bit of crud and claiming it as your own. Let it lie there and pass on.

I think the Buddhists have it about right. Notice things, acknowledge them for what they are, breath ... and let them go.

I liked these last two posts. It is really important to realize that we have a considerable amount of control over our work environment.

Today I think you missed an important point. Be aware of who you talk to at work. I noticed this when an office mate of mine got another position, and was sitting idly in his office waiting for his two week notice to expire.

As soon as he left, I felt much better about my job just because he was bringing me down.

Z - Yes, you are right. We can impact others a great deal. That's what I call being a mucky muck generator. If it is time for you to move on, it is a good idea to do whatever you can to not put others in doubt.

Thanks!

I love that, thanks. We really do cause ourselves much of the pain we feel. And while some worry and frustration is founded, we foten let negative thoughts take over.

I have just changed my job, I was working in my previous compoany for 3 years .I am very attached to few people there , in new job i am missing them beyond .So how do i cope up with this situation

There are two ways that I would approach this. First, take the time and energy to get to know the people you work with at your new job. You will eventually become attached to a few of them.

Second, continue your relationship with former coworkers. Get together periodically for a coffee and a discussion.

i have a problem with my job
i mean i can not enjoying it..
actualy everybody don`t enjoy
the members of the company always talk about the teamwork but in reality no body do it.
and my BOSS was a close friend to me and now he always make himself big and looking for mistakes from others

so PLEASE tell me what to do, or give me a massege for them and me too.

thanks alot
Adnan
