LOVE this post by Dwayne over at Genuine Curiosity called Intending Things Done! Go over there and check it all out because it is a meaty and long post about how to get from goal to success.
"Most of what I read about getting stuff done deals with Technique, Systems, and Tactics, with lots of Purpose and Balance sprinkled on. Goodness knows, I've tried various recipes - some work well, some don't, some work sometimes, some work always. They all have one thing in common - I can screw up any of them because I don't predictably play by the rules.
In my quest for the perfect system I've come to some conclusions, thanks to a number of cosmic nudges toward "Intention" over the last year. The nudges have helped me conclude that Intention is the key element that determines whether any of the other stuff works (sort of like the One Ring that rules them all, in the Lord of The Rings)."

Thanks, Lisa - and you reminded me of something. I wanted to mention 2 Weeks 2 A Breakthrough in conjunction with the observation about tapping into the network around you. I learned that in a big way last summer when you invited me to be a pilot participant in your program!
I've updated my post with a reference to your 2w2aB blog.

Thank you Lisa. Cannot agree with you more that intention is far most important. When you are drivern by strong purpose to succeed. It is UNSTOPPABLE !
Wish you all the best in life.

Recent research does seem to indicate that the unconscious can "crunch" multiple-variable problems really well, even better than the conscious mind. This argues for using "intention", rather than being too focused on specific paths to the goal. I agree with this post on the effectiveness of this method. I have blogged about it frequently over at Success Books.
