Back in December of 2004, I told you about a new and cool product from Levenger called Bleachers. Well, I never got mine! My husband tried to get a bleacher for me a while back but they were on back order.
Time slipped away....
Today, the FedEx truck drove up and handed me a box with my very own bleachers that my hubby bought for me. He thought it would be helpful to me for organizing my thoughts about the book I am writing. What a nice surprise!
It's pretty cool. Very high quality. You ought to get one (I boast, now that I have mine and don't have to wait if they go on back order again :-). Here's a few pics:
The front - room for about 24 cards.
The back - it holds 4 pens and extra cards.
And the side - it is surprisingly thin, so you can fit it on your crowded desk. Brilliant, really. Cat not included.
One day when I am wealthy, I am going to buy everything Levenger makes. Their stuff is superior in quality and feel. These bleachers have a nice heavy feel. Hey Levenger - how about a barter arrangement???

Completely agree on overall Levenger quality. I carry my international pocket briefcase everyday, and it's worked out well for capturing ideas on 3x5 cards complete with a small Fisher Space Pen.
Anyway I've ogled the card bleachers as well, but I've never figured out how I would actually successfully use them. How are you planning on using them?

I will use my bleachers in two related ways. First - they can be a platform for storyboarding books and presentations. It's also a good tool for keeping ideas and important chunks in from of me.

Oh, and I just found anouther related use. I am doing a webinar in just under an hour and I put my major notes for the presentation in my bleachers. No shuffling papers or cards!
