I loved the podcast, particularly the part where you and Brendon talked about MBA programs. His comment that they do a good job of teaching you how to design a performance appraisal system, but they're not much help if you have to conduct an actual supervisory interview with someone who works for you. I agree. That's why I wrote Performance Talk: The One-on-One Part of Leadership. But I'v also worked with clients who've hired MBAs and, for the most part, I think most of them are better educated to analyze companies than to run them.

Thanks, Wally. Bren is always a fun one to chat with and I hope that showed.

Lisa - I really admire the way in which you put your interviewees at ease then open up the dialogue in different directions. The duration is good - helps with the morning commute to the office on the train.

Keep up the good work!
Shaun

Shaun:

Thanks so much Shaun. I will have more podcasts coming soon.
