Interesting Seattle Book Reading/Talk

If you happen to live in the Puget Sound area, you might want to check out this book signing at Elliott Bay Books (my favorite store!) TOMORROW at noon. Glen Hiemstra, who is a futurist, will be reading from and talking about his new book is called, Turning the Future into Revenue. Enticing title, eh?

I have been following and interested in Glen's work for some time. I think we might try doing a podcast together soon, too, so stay tuned here for more.

One question I will ask Glen for sure: How does one get to the point of being able to call themselves a futurist? What does a futurist DO nine to five? It's a fascinating field, I think.
