Business travel note: Ask for a rental car with satellite radio!.
I love Sirius radio. Or to be more accurate, I love satellite radio - I would probably love XM too, I don't know. While in New Mexico, I was mostly in areas without any cell coverage, but I always had great tunes because my rental car had Sirius. It only took me a little while to determine the 3-4 stations I liked and then I could switch back and forth based on my mood and the songs.
Jazz to New Age to Alternative to Singer/Songwriter to 80's (still a bit of a disco queen inside). I like listening to Andreas Vollenweider, Miles Davis, and then Depeche Mode with a quick flick of the finger.
No commercials! That's worth something - we are so overmarketed to, it is nice to have a wee break.
Great stuff. And now you can get it on a portable player too. If only my iPod had it...... soon I am sure.
Here in Seattle, we have a great station called the Mountain. But I am thinking "Siriusly" about getting Sirius. If I were an Uber blogger like Robert Scoble or Hugh Macleod, I might get a free system to try, but as a middle of the pack business blogger I will have to shell out my own Ben Franklins.
La dee da. La dee dee.
And NO, I did not listen to Howard Stern in the morning. All music, all the time.
Business travel is enough of a strain, pay a couple extra bucks and get sat radio.
Honestly boss, this cherry red convertible was the only car they had left....
What? It could happen.
