I am still in New Zealand - it's great fun. Thanks to everyone who has left comments - I tried commenting back a few times but found I could not login to Typepad from the internet cafes I was using. I am now at the lovely hotel George in Christchurch, NZ and it seems to be working.
Regular posts will resume again after Christmas or before if I get my energy up.
A couple blog readers alerted me by email that my book, Focus Like a Laser Beam, had gained an honorable mention in the Globe and Mail's best business book list for 2006 by Harvey Schachter. I think his list of 10 winners is very interesting (more interesting than the US lists I have seen that go with the obvious best sellers) and I am thankful for the mention.

Glad to hear about your book - I just perused the Amazon top 10 business books for 2006 and there isn't a single female author amongst them! Here's hoping yours will be in there next year!

Lisa - So glad you're safe and sound and traveling well. I'll be in Seattle for Christmas, but I guess we won't connect this time.
Congrats on your kudos. I can't WAIT to read your next book, and more about your trip!
