One of the big learning points out of that excellent podcast for me was the idea that you can have things that you are good, even gifted, at, but that are not strengths unless they also give you energy.

Wally - yes, I agree, it is interesting to think about. There are a couple key services I provide that fall into the "good at" category but not the "makes me strong" category. Probably something I should think about when shaping the direction of my business.

I assume others would be in the same situation.

Workplace happiness is an activity in accordance with excellence, and with simple protection and preservation from incurable incompetence, the instinct and rules of good workmanship will thus withstand the bludgeonings of provisional claims.
