I've known a few managers like that. They say they want your thoughts, but what they really want are "yes people" who won't really make them think too hard. :) I like to hope that with concepts such as the new leadership skills Darwin Gillett teaches in Noble Enterprise, maybe those types of managers and leaders will become a relic of the past. Wishful thinking? Maybe, but I've always been an optimist at heart.
