My pal and fellow author and blogger Alexandra Levit shared this cool project with me and I am happy to help spread the word. If you are a young professional or manage/coach young professionals, please check this free resource out! Here is a brief description in Alexandra's words from the email she sent to me about JobSTART 101:
You might remember me telling you at ASTD about the committee I was on that advised the Obama administration on how to improve the competitiveness of American employees. Based on our recommendations, I worked with the Business Roundtable on a 90 minute online course that aims to better prepare college students for the workforce. The course, JobSTART 101 (www.jobstart101.org), focuses on skills like developing a professional reputation, communicating effectively with managers and colleagues, and solving problems autonomously. It launches on November 1 and I'm so proud that it will be free to all American twenty-somethings.
Looks like an amazing resource, so check it out!
