Whitney was not better than her mother. And Whitney's mother was just about good enough to sing backing for Aretha. Anyway, I have an interview clip in which Whitney states Aretha's the best. And my guess is that was even before she got her habit. Whoever thinks Whitney's any better than Aretha does not know history and/or has a serious hearing impediment.
